I’m not sure of the exact date, but they tell me I started reading when I was about four-years-old. I couldn’t tell you what the books were, or which ones were my favourites at that tender age, but I can tell you that books and reading have been an important part of my life ever since.
I have volunteered in school libraries in junior high and high school. I worked at the library at the university where I did my English Literature degree. Nothing makes me happier than being surrounded by books.
My list of favourite books is long and varied, but my all-time number-one is Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights. My favourite author is Susanna Kearsley (who also writes under the name Emma Cole), and I have a webpage dedicated to her, as well.
